This time, I'd like to write about the photo session of "DETAH GAME" on the other day.

Originally, I made this film to submit to film festivals. Depend on festival, I have to attach the poster with film itself, which led to this photo session.
We could use photo studio in school because one of my room-mate is majoring in photography. I think I never know that our school has photo studio until graduation.
The studio is ragged including materials from his words, I was impressed so much because this was my first time to see the photo studio.

We could finish taking photos earlier than we expected because of the rehearsal beforehand. The lighting for photograph and for movie, looks similar but differs little bit. The photograph is the clip of the moment, while movie is the clip of certain time. It might be normal ofcourse, however, I learned how different are these.

今回は先日行った「DETAH GAME」のポスター撮影について、書いてみたいと思います。

もともとこの映画は映画祭に出展するために撮影したのですが、映画祭によっては、映像だけでなく、ポスターも提出しなければ、いけないために、今回の撮影になりました。

撮影はルームメートが写真専攻ということもあり、彼のおかげで学校内にある撮影スタジオを使用して、撮影させてもらいました。今回の話がなければ、学校にスタジオがあるということすら知らないまま、卒業していたと思います。
スタジオはルームメートいわく、機材も含めてオンボロらしいのですが、私としては、初めて見る写真撮影スタジオに感動していました。

撮影そのものは前日にリハーサルしていたこともあり、予想以上に早く終わりました。写真の照明と映画の照明というのは似ているようで、微妙に違う。写真は瞬間の切り抜きであり、映像は時間の切抜きであるから、当たり前といえば、当たり前なのだが、今回の撮影を通して、その意味、その違いを大きく実感させられました。
