This TV program was broadcasted when I was in 2nd grade of my high school. I saw this one wondering if I would experience same thing 1 years later. There were many similarities for this program between the school in TV and school that I went.
First point in common is both school have full-time system and night-time system. There is one line that I never forget. "I never think that there is someone who use same desk of mine." (In Japan, students don't move room, but teacher visit the room that students are waiting.)
The first time, I heard this line, I was hit by the same idea that my shool also has night-time students and someone use my desk without reason.
Another similarity is both schools are extreme high level school. The school in TV enable the 5th student in test ranking to go to Kyoto University which is one of the best university in Japan. From our school, almost 30 students enter same university every year.
Therefore, I thought I would experience same feeling against Japanese Exam War for entering university.
