Happy New Year!!
Just as last year, I welcomed 2006 in Las Vegas. This was my third of this year, and seventh stay in Las Vegas in my life. We decided to go without any specific reason, just to enjoy the moment of New Year. Therefore, it was really tough schedule such as we left on December 30th, and stay 1 night in Las Vegas and came back soon after it became January 1st.
Nevertheless we decided to go there right before we go, we could reserve the pyramid shape hotel "LUXOR". I was excited to stay there, feeling side-way gravity on inclinator, which is the elevator moving slantly, and enjoying strange construction that the room is located along slope of pyramid, which means there is no room under the room.

新年明けましておめでとうございます。本年もよろしくお願いいたします。
昨年に引き続き、2006年の幕開けもラスベガスで迎えました。今年3回目、通算7回目のラスベガス。今回は特にこれといった目的はなく、単純に新年を迎えるその瞬間を楽しもうという感じで行くことになりました。そのため、30日に出発して、1泊して1日を迎えたら、そのまま帰るという強行日程になりました。
直前に行くことが決まったのですが、ピラミッド型のホテル「ルクソール」を予約することができて、初めてのルクソール滞在に心弾ませながら、ホテルに到着。斜めに昇るエレベーターで横G(重力)を感じながら、ピラミッドの側面に沿って部屋が配置されているという奇妙(部屋の下に部屋がなく、ピラミッドの斜面との接点で支えられているような感じ)、かつ面白い構造を目で楽しみながら、部屋に荷物を置き、街へ！！
