	2008年9月11日	エミー賞ノミネート記念パーティー

I went to the party last weekend to celebrate the nomination of Japanese lady, Ms. Tokunaga, for Emmy Awards.

Emmy Awards is held to celebrates the achievements in US TV industry just like Academy Awards in movie industry. She is the first Japanese in history who is nominated for Emmy Awards in outstanding hair styling category!!

I was invited to the party because I had done a couple of works with her.
There was a red carpet outside and I felt like I was a someone from Hollywood industry.
(Actually I must be in the industry... however, it's like a false...)

I met a lot of my acquiaintances at the party and she was really outstanding to the letter. She has had something special since I had met her for the first time and it was increased more and more, which made me have spirits.

I will keep trying hard without forgetting the importance that such great person is close to me.

I'd like to say congratulation from bottom of my heart!

Emmy Awards Nomination Party エミー賞ノミネート記念パーティー

先週末、徳永さんという日本人女性のエミー賞ノミネート記念のパーティーに招待され、行ってきました。

エミー賞とは、アメリカ映画界におけるアカデミー賞と同じような位置づけで、アメリカのTV界における1年間の功績を称える賞のことで、日本人でアウトスタンディング・ヘアスタイリング部門にノミネートされたのは史上初めて！

徳永さんとは過去に何度かご一緒に仕事をさせていただいたこともあり、今回招待していただきました。
会場の外にはちょっとしたレッド･カーペットもあり、気分は軽くハリウッド関係者。
(実際、自分はハリウッド関係者と言えば関係者のはずなのだが、自分で言うのもなんだか・・・、嘘っぽい(苦笑)・・・。)

パーティーでは懐かしい顔、よく知った顔、いろんな人がいましたが、中でも徳永さんは輝いていました。以前から普通の人とは違うオーラをもっていらっしゃったのですが、それが更に増していて、自分も改めて頑張ろうという気持ちになりました。

これからも、こういったお手本となる方が身近にいるというありがたみを忘れることなく、常に上を目指して努力していきたいと思います。
