Group League, World Cup 2010 ended today and knock-out stage will begin tomorrow. My favorites, Korea, Germany and Japan got into round 16. However, Germany has to go really hard road, against England at round 16 and Argentina at quarter final.
Looking back, there are a lot of upsets starting with disorder of European team, first elimination of host country ever, and first knocked-out of both finalists of previous final match in the histroy.
Especially, the elimination of previous final teams, France and Italy was astonishing. Both of them couldn't even win a single game. That's surprise. Mis-change of generations is the main reason. Both teams are mostly occupied by previous members and new generations didn't come up. Italy was the oldest team ever.
For France, they fell into internal trouble such the president intermediated and they only supplied news on media out of the pitch.
