This time I'll write about the most exciting city in the world, =Las Vegas= in two publications.
I went to Las Vegas two weeks in succession. First week I went to Las Vegas to celebrate Independence Day (see No.5 in detail). Last week I went to Las Vegas again to enjoy the city simply. In short, what I want to say is we can enjoy the free-show, shopping, gambling, and each hotel in Las Vegas.
If you go to Downtown, we can see the marvelous illumination on the large arcade as shown in above pictures. Every 30 minutes, there is a illumination and they have 6 kinds of patterns, so if you want to see all kinds of illumination it takes 3 hours.
You can also enjoy the live concert in the Downtown. There are two stages along Freemont St. and someone have a concert if you visit there at night.
Do you know "Back To The Future"? If you saw part 2 of this trilogy, you can find Biff's house in Downtown.
You can see the world biggest Golden Nugget in Downtown. The hotel's name is also "Golden Nugget". I thought this is just like Las Vegas!!
Each hotel has a free-show to attract, or invite customers. These shows are really exciting. I'll intoroduce some of them.
At first, TI's show. This is revised recently. I saw the old one 4 years ago. That was about male pirates. But this time it was changed into female pirates. We can see the pirates ship in front of hotel, and there is a show with dance, song, and explosion.
Secondary, you can see the Rio's Carnival at Rio Sweet. One of the most famous dance festival in the world is shown in Las Vegas. If you are lucky, you can get some necklaces
Finally, I'll introduce the most exciting free-show in Las Vegas. That is the fountain show in front of the hotel "Bellagio". This show can be seen in the movie "Oceans 11". There is no way to explain this excitement, therefore please visit to see it with your eyes!

今回は世界中でもっともエキサイティングな街、ラスベガスについて2回にわたって書いて見たいと思います。
2週続けてラスベガスに行ったわけですが、1週目は独立記念日を祝うため(詳細はNo5のコラムを見てください)、そして先週は単純に街を楽しむために訪れました。要するに、私が言いたいのは無料ショー、買い物、ギャンブル、そしてホテルと・・・ラスベガスは楽しい街だということです。
ダウンタウンに行けば、上の写真のように大きなアーケードに素晴らしいイルミネーションを見ることができます。30分毎にイルミネーションがあり、6種類あるのですべてを見ようとすると3時間かかります。
ダウンダウンではライブ・コンサートを楽しむこともできます。フリーモントSt.沿いに２つのステージがあって、夜行けば、誰かがコンサートを開いています。
「バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー」を知っていますか？もしこの3部作の第2部を見たことがあれば、ビフの家をダウンタウンで発見できますよ。
また世界一大きな金塊を見ることもできます。そのホテルの名前はずばり「金塊」です。これぞラスベガスです！！
各ホテルは客寄せのために無料ショーを行っています。これらのショーは本当に面白いので、いくつかを紹介したいと思います。
最初はTIのショーです。このショーは最近リニューアルされました。4年前に見た時は男の海賊の物語でしたが、今回は女性の海賊物語に変わっていました。ホテルの前に海賊船があり、そこで踊りと歌と爆発を伴ったショーが繰り広げられます。
二番目はリオ・スイートのカーニバルです。世界中で最も有名なダンス・フェスティバルがラスベガスで見れるのです。ラッキーな人なら、ネックレスを手に入れることもできます。
そしてなんといっても、一番面白いのが「ベラッジオ」の前の噴水ショーです。映画「オーシャンズ１１」の中にも登場するショーですが、言葉でこの興奮を伝えるのは難しいので、ぜひ一度訪れてその目で見てください！
