I'd like to write about Intern this time that I started in the middle of last month.
The company locates 1 hour distance from my apartment, which is Japanese movie distribution company. I expecetd that I do something like desk work, but I do real business in the company.
What I did were making trailer of air-show, updating home-page of the company, and fixing computer.
I'm doing three things making use of my skills; what I'm studying now = film-making, my hobby = updating home-page, and know-how that I got from IBM = technique for repairing computer.
What the president said first was that the company tells us what we don't know, and we give the company something we know, and make the company better helping eac other.
This word was due to the fact that the company spent just a couple of years from its creation. I could practice this words so far. I gave my skills to the company while I got something new I didn't know ever.

今回は先月中旬から始めたインターンについて書いてみたいと思います。
インターン先は日系の映画配給会社で、自宅から1時間くらいの距離にあります。インターンということで、お茶くみとかいわゆるデスク・ワーク的なことをするのかと思っていたのですが、実際は実務的な内容のことが多い。
今までに行った作業は航空ショーのビデオの予告編作り。会社のホームページの更新、そして壊れたパソコンの修理。
今、勉強していること＝映画制作。自分の趣味＝ホームページ更新。そしてIBMで培ったノウハウ＝パソコンの修復技術。この3つをうまいこと生かしながら、業務をこなしているといった感じです。
最初に会社の人に言われたのが、会社がみなさんの知らないことを教える。そしてみなさんは知っている知識を会社に与えて、お互いに助け合って行きましょう、という言葉だった。
会社自体はまだできて数年の会社なので・・・、ということもあっての言葉だったのだろうが、自分としては、今のところ、この言葉通りにうまくいっている。自分の持っている技術を会社に与え、そして会社からは知らないことを教えてもらっている。
