This Monday & Tuesday, I shot new film. Actually, it's not brand-new but re-make of my film. The title is "Lonely Toothbrush".
I shot this one with Japanese amateur actors one year ago for school assignment.This time, I shot this with American actors who want to be an actor and actress for film festival.
There are mainly two reasons I shot this.
One reason, I wanted to know how much my film-making skill has been improved in last one year. Therefore, I used same script to compare old one and new one.
Another reason is just I liked this story, and I wanted to develop this one better. Therefore, I add some scenes besides original story such as man's birthday scene and doctor scene.

今週月曜・火曜と新作映画の撮影を行いました。新作といっても、ある意味新作ではなく、「Lonely Toothbrush」のリメイクです。
1年前は学校の宿題用に、日本人の素人を使って、撮影しましたが、今回は映画祭出品用として、俳優志望のアメリカ人を使って、撮影しました。
今回この作品を撮った理由は2つあります。
1つはこの1年で自分の映画制作のスキルがどれだけ上達したのか？を知るため。そして過去の作品と今回の作品を比べるために同じ脚本を使うことにしました。
もう1つの理由は、単純に自分がこのストーリーを気に入っていたから。そしてそれをより良い作品にしたかったため。それ故に主役の男の誕生日のシーンや医者のシーンを追加したりもしました。
