Regarding cast, this time, I got 20 auditionee for three roles. Jack, Natalie, and Doctor. There were two choice in my mind, each for the role of Jack and Natalie after the audition. It was really difficult for me to drop one of them.
At last, I chose one for each. They were both first experience to join in film. They were both theater persons.
For the doctor role, I could easily decide the one who has a good voice to make people relieve by his voice.
This time, I used wide angle lense for the first time, which really helped me so much in many cases. And I also used locations such as library and nursing department lab with permissions from school, which was also for the first experience for me.
I believe this one will be the greatest film I ever made in technical meaning. And I wish this film can get a prize in festivals.
At last, I'd like to appreciate for all the people, who co-operated to this film.

キャスティングに関しては、今回は3つの役(ジャック、ナタリー、医者)に対して、20人の応募がありました。ジャックとナタリーの役に関しては、オーディションの後、ジャックとナタリーそれぞれの役に対して、2人ずつの候補者が自分の中にいました。どちらか1人を落とすというのが非常に困難な選択となりました。
医者の役に関しては、簡単に決めることができました。人を安心させるのにすごく適した声を持った役者さんです。
今回、初めて広角レンズを使用し、多くの場面で非常に有効的に活用することができました。そして図書館や看護学科の研究室といった場所を学校の許可を得て、使用したのも初めての体験でした。
この作品は技術的な面に関しては、今までで最高の作品になると思います。そして映画祭において、賞を獲得できれば、なお嬉しい。
最後に、この作品に携わってくれたすべての人に感謝の言葉を述べたいと思います。
