Back to NBA, the opponent(Grizzlies) player made it 3-points shot right before the end of the game, and game continued to the extra game.
At the beginning of the extra game, Lakers could get no points while Grizzlies got 7 points and I thought the game was over, but the star player Kobe Bryant, who is the one of the best player in current NBA, started to retrieve the points. The moment right before the end of the extra game, Lakers was just 1 point behind Grizzlies. And Kobe got a pass as if that had been ready for him.
But he couldn't make it, and time over. The winner of this tight game was Grizzlies.

What I noticed was that the characters in Japanese Basketball comic "SLAMDUNK" are really great. Although they are Japanese high school students, they can be the best player in NBA if they were real. One of them could get 50 points in one game, and I couldn't get it how difficult to get 50 in one game. But after I saw real NBA game, I understood how hard it was.

さて、NBAに話を戻そう。試合はクォーター制(前後半ではなく、12分を4回)の最終クォーター終了数秒前に敵チーム(グリズリーズ)が3ポイント・シュートを決め、延長へ。
延長は開始直後に、レイカーズが1点も取れないまま、7点差まで開き、試合は決まったと思っていたが、そこからレイカーズのエース、コビー・ブライアンが盛り返し、終了直前に1点差まで追い上げる。そして最後の最後に舞台が用意されていたかのように、コビーにボールが渡る・・・。
が、しかしコビー、シュートを放つもこれを決められず、そのままタイム・アップ。100 vs 99という接戦を制したのは敵チーム。

試合を見ていて思ったのが、漫画「スラムダンク」に登場する選手はめちゃくちゃ上手い！！ってこと。流川や沢北などが現実にNBAにいたら、NBAでも1、2位の選手だろう。ってこと。流川が海南戦前半だけで25点を取り、海南の監督が「50点もやるつもりなのか！？」と激昂するシーンがあるのだが、1試合で50点を取るというのが、どんなものなのか実感が沸いてなかったが、今回の試合を見て、1試合50点というのがいかに難しいのか、よくわかった。
