One more thing that I noticed was there were too many interruption during the game such as foul and time-out. It took more than 30 minutes including interrupted time even though actual playing time is only 12 minutes.
They prepared for these interrupted time not to make the audience bored, one of them is cheer girls. The girls, who were chosen after the selection, danced on the coat after players went to the bench.
Another was the cameras that captured audience on the stands. The cameras shot the game that was similar vision as the TV during the game, which shot the stands during these time on the screen over the coat. Some audience danced and some shaked their hands to appeal themselves. The most impressive one was the "Kiss Me". They captured couples and made them kiss compulsorily. If this happens in Japan, there is no Japanese who do kiss, however, here in USA, they do kiss as if it is usual.
Just like this, NBA becomes "entertainment" that they entertains audience during interruption, rather than "sports". As a proof, they often change rules not for the players but for the audience to make them have funs. Just like World Cup Soccer, NBA also becomes one of the ways to make money.
Nonetheless, I could have fun to see the dynamic movement and superhuman plays that made audience excited.
That was my first major sports in USA. Next can be baseball? Besides, this year is the first year of the World Baseball Classic, therefore, I'd like to see it. If I could see the match "Japan vs USA", it would be the great moment for me.
