The shooting of the second part of "DEATH GAME" trilogy "=POWER=" began on February 3. I experience a lot of "the first", which makes me learn various things.

The first day of the shooting, we shot a class of a university with 12 extra people. This was my first time to shoot a movie with extra. I was really nervous because of directing extra, directing director of photographer, and directing actors.

Another "the first" was working with makeup artist. There had been no exclusive makeup artist ever(actually, I had some artists scene by scene). This time, I work with makeup artist for the first time, he tells me the difference of the actors' appearances on the screen that is the result of the makeup.

2月3日から始まった「デス･ゲーム」の第二部〜POWER〜の撮影ですが、今回も初めてづくしで、いろんなことを勉強してます。

まずは初日、総勢12人のエキストラの方に参加していただいて、大学の授業風景の撮影。初めてのエキストラを使っての撮影ということで、カメラマンに指示を出すのと、エキストラに指示を出すのと、役者に指示を出すので、頭の中が結構いっぱいいっぱいになりました。
そしてもうひとつの"初物"はメイクさん。今までの作品では専属のメイクさんに撮影に参加していただくことはなかったのですが(要所要所だけっていうのはありましたが・・・)、今回初めて参加していただいて、メイクの有無による"画面映え"の違いを実感している今回の撮影です。
