第3の波 2 |
What I think about these waves is that all of these waves change human life-style in large.
First wave changed human way of life of eating. Before 1st wave came, they supply their food doing hunt. After the wave, they change their style from hunting to agriculture or farming.
Next, second wave changed the way of working. It changed human way of working from focusing on handicrafts to industrialization using machines. With this industrialization, many aspects of human life had changed. The most obvious change was transportation. The place that they could reach only on the carriage with horses could be reached faster and easily by coming up of trains and cars. And they could go over seas, where horses never get reach, by ship. Thus, the world to exchange got wider rapidly.

自分が思うに、これら3つの波は人類の生活習慣そのものを大きく変えてしまうだけの本当に大きな"波"である。
まず第1の波は、人間の食生活を大きく変えた。それまで狩猟中心であった人間が農耕中心の生活へと変わったきっかけとなった。
続いて第2の波は人間の労働形態を変えた。それまでの手工業から機械を利用した工業へと転換し、それに伴い、生活全般が大きく変貌した。その中でも一番大きな変化は移動手段だろうか？それまでは馬車でしかいけなかった場所も、鉄道や自動車の登場で、それまで以上に早く、かつ容易に行けるようになった。そして馬では絶対に超えられなかった海も、船といった"乗り物"(それまではそんな言葉すらなかったのではないだろうか？)が登場し、交易の、そして人間、いや人類としての世界が一気に広がった。
