The group C is the "Death Group", which is born every World Cup.
There are 3 big countries in this group; Argentina who is the every time favorite, Netherlands is also one of every time favorite but they didn't record good achievement ever, and Serbia and Montenegro, the mother country of legendary player Stojkovic who played in Japan, and also called as "Brazil in Europe" was ex-Yugoslavia. They just lost 1 goal in the Europe preliminary. This number is really remarkable in current defense-respect soccer.

Group D will be led by 2 strong countries Portugal and Mexico.

グループDは波乱がない限り、ポルトガルとメキシコの2強で決まりだろう。
