Both teams showed great performance, which was the greater contents than the score 1-0 indicated. Serbia and Montenegro, which is called as "Brazil in Eastern Europe" and ex-Yugo, showed their techniques. However, the one that decided the game was Dutch "Technique". Serbia and Montenegro lost only 1 goal in 10 matches of European preliminary. Dutch player Robben opened the door.

欧州同士の戦いとは思えない試合展開で、見ていて非常に面白い試合だった。

"死の組"と呼ばれるC組。昨日のアルゼンチンvsコートジボアールといい、このオランダvsセルビア･モンテネグロといい、やはり"死の組"と呼ぶにふさわしい本当にレベルの高い試合が繰り広げられている。
