DAY 4 of World Cup, finally we welcomed Japan's first match. I watched it on TV from 5:55am nevertheless I was hangover. The result was miserable.
From the beginning, Japanese weapon, mid-field didn't work well. Aussie coach Hiding's tactics that Japan was not scare if their mid-field didn't work, successed. Therefore, Japan could do neither keep their mid-field compact nor quick pass-work.
However, Nakamura's centering ball went to goal with some luck. (It was clear that it was keeper charge.) The game kept going in lazy pace.
And right after the game started to count last 10 minutes, Australia began to be much active. Throw-in from left side, goal keeper Kawaguchi went out even though defender marked opponents. There is a basic rule that goal keeper should catch or punch out the ball if they go out. But he missed it and Australia got a goal. Kawaguchi did great jobs so far but he spoiled everything with this only one misstake. Foward can make some mistakes but goal keeper can't do that bacause it will lead goal.
Japan became much inconsistent with Australian tie goal, and as the result of substitution Australia got another 2 goals, and it became 3-1. Considering keeper charge, it was lost game with score 3-0.
