Day 11. All the team finished 2 games, and both teams to go to final stage or lose came to be decided.

Today Spain that was called as "Invincible Armada" played a game. They were not in good shape because of slump of absolute ace striker Raul. He was out of starting member, and Tunisia got first goal in the early beginning of the game. Then Tunisia took the tacitics that they fortified their defense, or couldn't they attack against the real ability of Spain.
Anyway, they could keep their lead till the middle of 2nd half. At the moment that Spain felt a mood of losing game, absolute ace who participated from the middle of the game got a tie-goal. After that, Spain took the control of the game and they decided to go to final stage with the victory 3-1.

By the way, there are absolute strikers in each excellent countries, such as today's Raul, Ronaldo for Brazil, Owen for England, Crespo for Argentina, Henry for France, and Klose for Germany. Raul, Ronaldo, and Owen were really in bad condition but they couldn't be out of team because of their past achievements. Reagarding to Owen, he was chosen despite he didn't play in England's Premiere league.

大会11日目。グループ･リーグも今日で全チーム2試合を終え、決勝トーナメント進出、あるいはリーグ敗退のチームが決まってきた。

そんな中、昔は"無敵艦隊"と呼ばれていたスペインが登場。絶対的エース、ラウールの調子がいまいちだったチーム。そのエースはスタメンをはずれ、試合もチュニジアが前半早い時間帯で先制し、そのあとはガチガチに守りを固めてきた。あるいは単純にスペインの実力に攻め切れなかったのか？
それでも後半途中まで、チュニジアは守りきる。スペイン側に「まさか？」の雰囲気が流れ始めたその瞬間、途中出場の絶対的エースが沈黙を破り、同点ゴールを決める。その後は地力に勝るスペインが押し続け、3-1で勝利し、決勝トーナメント進出を決めた。

さて、いわゆる強豪と呼ばれる国には絶対的エース・ストライカーがいる。今日のラウールしかり、ブラジルのロナウド、イングランドのオーウェン、アルゼンチンのクレスポ、フランスのアンリ、ドイツのクローゼといった顔ぶれだ。ラウール、ロナウド、オーウェンにいたっては大会前、絶不調であっても、過去の実績から外すことはできないほどの"絶対"さだ。オーウェンにいたっては、今期リーグ戦出場してないにも関わらずの選出だった。
