In current Japan, we don't have such strikers. But we had two ones in past.
Kunishige Kamamoto(75cap 73goal) & "KAZU", Kazuyoshi Miura(91cap 56goal).
Kamamoto was the main power that Japan became 3rd place in Mexico Olympics and got the leading scorer of Olympics. And KAZU is the striker who is not required to explain. He is the man who could do his best in a big game. For example, he got goals in the games such as all-star, Asia Cup, and Asian prelimineries for World Cup. He had recorded goals in such huge games.

When is the next that such striker will appear in Japan?
I think that no more such stiker will appear again. Because Kamamoto and KAZU rooted in foreign countries. Kamamoto was taught by Dettmar Cramer who is a German and called as "the father of Japanese soccer". KAZU went to Brazil by himself in his teenage. Forward who knows foreign soccer in his young age is required. Or call great defenders from foreign countries.
It is really hard that to extend forward's ability with Japanese defender. Besides, J-league(Japanese professional soccer league) began and they maintained the system that trains youth, which makes youngs not go to foreign countries to study soccer. In this meaning, I think, absolute forward will never be born from Japan.

However, if Japanese who is equal with Kamamoto or KAZU appear, it's the time that Japan become the one of the excellent countries.

今の日本にはそんなストライカーがいない。が、過去に2人だけいた。
釜本邦茂(75試合73得点：歴代1位)と"カズ"こと三浦知良(91試合56得点：歴代2位)だ。
釜本はメキシコ五輪3位となったチームのストライカーであり、オリンピックの得点王を獲得した選手。(釜本の引退試合のためだけに"神様"ペレが来日したほどの選手だ・・・)。そしてカズは・・・いまさら説明不要のストライカーだろう。ここぞという大舞台に強い男。たとえばオールスター戦などでは必ずといって良いほどゴールを決めるし、アジア杯、そしてW杯アジア予選・・・、本当に"ここ一番"の舞台で必ず結果を出してきた。

次にそんなストライカーが現れるのはいつだろうか？
この先、そんなストライカーは日本からは現れない気がする。というのは釜本にしろ、カズにしろ、そのルーツは海外だ。釜本は日本サッカーの父と呼ばれるドイツ人、デットマール・クラマー氏に師事を仰ぎ、カズは10代でブラジルに単身留学してきた。若い時に海外を知っているFWが必要なのだ。もしくは海外の屈強なDFをJリーグに呼ぶか・・・だ。
日本のDFが相手ではやはり、FWとしての伸びしろが限られてしまう。しかもJリーグというプロ組織ができてしまい、ユース時代からの強化システムが整いつつあるこの状況で単身海外留学することもなくなり、そういった意味で、今後日本から絶対的エース・ストライカーが生まれることはなくなるのではないだろうか？

しかし、もし釜本やカズに匹敵する・・・、そんな日本人が現れたら、その時こそ、日本が世界の強豪国に仲間入りできる時かもしれない。
