World Cup is over and then I became "burn-out" syndrome nowadays. If I were in Japan, I would go back to normal life in a busy days. But now I'm in USA and graduated from school already and I have nothing to do especially, (actually I have a internship and have a task to edit but it's not compulsion, so I just spend time without doing anything special.

The problem of Zidane's head-but; Zidane told the truth on TV yesterday. It was a revenge for Italisn player's insult against Zidane's family. We have to wait for FIFA's inspection but I worry about one thing that Italian player, Materazzi might be killed by Zidane's fan.
I really worry because there was a case that Colombian player was shot to die because of his own goal (in World Cup 1994).

By the way, there were comforting events for the players of best 4 in each country.
Portugal, there were a lot of fans waiting for players the next day of losing 3rd place match.
France also had a party at Executive Mansion and many fans welcomed them outsideof the building.
Champion Italy, was welcomed in capital Rome and ther had a victory parade.

W杯が終了し、ちょっとした"燃え尽き症候群"にかかってしまった今日この頃。日本にいれば、せわしない日常の中で、すぐにでも日常生活に戻らなければいけない状況になるのだろうが、今、自分はアメリカにいて、しかも学校を卒業して、はっきりいって、何もしなくても良い状態(インターンがあったり、編集したりといった作業があるには、あるが、強制ではないし・・・)のため、何もする気にならずにただ時間を送っています。

ジダンの頭突き問題も昨日TVでジダンが真相を告げた(イタリア選手のジダンの家族に対する侮辱発言に対する報復行為だった)ことで、あとはFIFAの調査･判定を待つのみになりましたが、心配なのはイタリアのマテラッツィがジダン･ファンに殺されるのではないか？ということ。
過去にコロンビアの選手が自殺点をしたことが原因で射殺されるという前例(1994年)があるだけに、少し心配です。

さて、W杯ベスト4に進んだ国では選手に対する慰労会のようなものが行われました。
まずはポルトガル。3位決定戦に敗退した翌日、帰国した選手たちを待っていたのは、温かいファンの出迎えでした。
そして2位のフランスは大統領官邸で慰労会、そして大統領官邸を出たところに待っていたのが、大勢のファン。
そして優勝したイタリアは、首都ローマでファンによる歓迎会＋優勝パレードで、こちらも大勢のファンが出迎えてくれた。
