3 countries above, the form of the event was that fans held welcome-event for players. But host nation Germany held peculiar event.
In a word, it was a thanksgiving by players and staffs for their fans. It gathered a lot of fans in capital Berlin, which should be the event after they fought final.

Each events gathered a couple of hundred thousands people. Germany was a team showing attacking soccer while most teams showed defensive soccer, and they were also different in the event; they sang songs and gifted balls for fans. It was the evenet to say appreciations for their fans insistently.

既述の3カ国ではファンによる選手の歓迎会という形式だったのですが、開催国ドイツは一味違った趣向のイベントを行いました。
一言で言うなら、選手・スタッフによるファンの応援に対する感謝会。首都ベルリン(本来なら決勝に進んだ上でのイベントになるはずだったが・・・)で、こちらも非常に大勢のファンを集めてのビッグ･イベントとなった。

いずれのイベントも数十万人を集めたイベントとなりましたが、中でもドイツはW杯本大会で、守備的チームが多い中、攻撃的なサッカーを見せていたチームでしたが、ファン･イベントも他のチームとは異なり、歌を歌ったり、ボールをプレゼントしたり、あくまで応援してくれたファンへの感謝を述べる場としてのイベントでした。
