Party 1 パーティー 1

Today, I went to the private party of Japanese film festival, Chanoma Film Festival which will begin tomorrow.
For last couple of months, I've worked for this project as a volunteer and I finished editing of the film for this party staying up all night. However, it didn't work because of compatibility between PC and projector. So my efforts for last couple of days were in vain at last.
But it became good experience in that I could finish editing battling with the time limit.

There were some greeting from the sponsors of the festival, screening of trailers (my editing ended up wasted but we projected the DVD prepared for just in case), and speech from our guests.
The one was Shoei we invited from Japan, and his friend Kinnikun Nakayama who comes to study abroad. We were originally supposed to have only Shoei as a guest but it came to it because they were friends.

本日、明日から開催される日本映画の映画祭、Chanoma Film Festivalの前夜祭に参加してきました。
ここ数ヶ月の間、実行委員としてやってきた最後の大仕事として、前夜祭で使用する映像の編集を完徹で仕上げたものの、プロジェクターとPCの合性が悪かったためか、結局上映できず、ここ数日間の作業がすべて無駄になってしまった・・・。
とはいえ、初めて締め切りぎりぎりの状態での編集を経験できたという意味では良い経験になった。

さて、パーティーでは映画祭のスポンサーからの挨拶、予告編の上映(自分の編集は無駄になってしまったが、保険のDVDを上映した)、そしてゲストのスピーチ。
ゲストは日本から招待した、照英さん。そしてその友人で現在LAに"筋肉"留学している中山きんにくん。もともとは照英さんだけの予定だったのが、2人が友人だったために急遽決定したのです。(筋肉番付で知り合ったと思われるので、"筋肉"友達とでも呼ぶのだろうか(笑)？)
