トラブル続きのNY -part2- |
On July 9th, I went to the airport to get on the airplane for NY. The board said my flight was delayed 1 hour, departing 23:30. My flight was supposed to arrive at NY on 10am via Atlanta staying at airplane.
Staying at airplane was not a problem and neither 1 hour delay was.
The trouble happened right after I went to check-in counter. I tried to do self check-in because I had e-ticket. But I couldn't find my name and I went to the counter and there was no name on the list...
This was my first time in 10 years from my first foreign travel and I got into a trouble a little bit...
It was solved at last, which could remind me of the relish of travel alone.
However, I didn't know there were a lot of troubles in this trip at that time...

7月9日、NY行きの飛行機に乗る予定で空港へ向かった。掲示板を見ると、フライトが1時間遅れの23時半出発になっている。機中泊、アトランタ経由で朝10時にNY到着の飛行機の予定だった。
機中泊・・・、これはトラブルでもなんでもないし、1時間遅れの出発も今回に関しては、まったく問題ない。
トラブったのは、搭乗手続きをしようとカウンターに向かった直後。eチケットなので、自分でチェックインしようとしたが、なぜか自分の名前が見つからない。仕方なく、カウンターでのチェックインに向かうが、ここでもやはり自分の名前が登録されていない・・・。
海外の旅人を始めてから今年で10年。こんな経験は初めて、正直ちょっと焦る・・・。
最終的に無事問題は解決したのだが・・・、久々にこういう旅のトラブルに遭遇し、長年忘れていた一人旅の醍醐味を思い出すことができた。
しかし、この旅がその後もたくさんのトラブルをもたらしてくれるとは、この時はまったく予期していなかった・・・。
