Award celemony lasted for 2 hours. It went as 1 on 1 interview showing past titles Penelope shows up in between.
There were two episodes that attracted my attention especially. One is the story when she just came to Hollywood from Spain for the first time. She just memorised her lines but she couldn't understand what the director said. Another one is the story of her studying Italian. She studied 5hours everyday for a month and she kept shutting down everything such as phone and TV both in Spanish and English. I thought she is the one that should be called an international actress.

The presenter of the award was also Oscar nominee of this year, Josh Brolin. It was really exciting ceremony because Oscar nominee presented a trophy to another Oscar nominee as if it was a virtual Academy Award ceremony.

There are only two Hollywood actress left that I'd like to meet. Who will be the next? The two are...
Natalie Portman
and...
Meryl Streep

After I meet these two, it will be the greatest experience if I could produce a film with these five actress. Last ： Next

Oscar Nominees オスカー候補者

Award ceremony 授賞式

授賞式は2時間で、司会者と1対1で対話しながら、途中途中に過去の出演作の映像が流れ、その1作品ごとに司会者が質問をしていく形式。
中でもスペインから初めてハリウッドに来た時の話(とりあえず、台詞だけを覚えたが、英語がまったくわからず、監督が何を言っているのかもわからなかったらしい・・・)と、イタリア語の映画に出演した時の話(1ヶ月間1日5時間ずつ勉強をして、電話やテレビなどもすべて、スペイン語はもちろん、英語も含め、イタリア語以外の言語はすべてシャットダウンしたらしい・・・)を聞いて、国際派女優とはまさに彼女のためにこそある言葉だと痛感した。

最後のトロフィー授与のプレゼンターは、こちらもアカデミーにノミネートされたばかりのジョシュ・ブローリン。オスカー・ノミニーからオスカー・ノミニーへのトロフィー授与という仮想アカデミー賞授賞式となり、とても盛り上がりました。

これで残る個人的会いたいハリウッド女優は2人。次は誰に会えるのでしょうか？ちなみに残る2人とは・・・

この2人に会えた後は、5人を共演させる映画を撮れたら最高でしょうね！
