Yesteday was the really pleasant day for me. I cut off my job without overtime work and went to a movie theater, New Beverly Cinema. A well-known car welcomed med me, that is DeLorean. This is recognized as a time-machine by some people. Now you know what this is; "BACK TO THE FUTURE" trilogy marathon screening.

Originally it was planned as following; Part 1 from 7:30pm, Part 2 from 10pm and Part 3 from 12am. It is 6.5 hours length. One of my colleague asked me when you ear dinner, and I answered this masterpiece in history will fill my stomach.
There was a special guest, Christopher Lloyd who played a role of Doc, Emmett "Doc" Brown, which made me full. Then there was Q&A session for sure and it ended 3:30am because of troubles during part 3, in total it became 8hours event.

昨日、個人的にはかなり嬉しい1日となりました。残業もせず、仕事を切り上げ、向かった先はNew Beverly Cinemaという映画館。到着するとあの名車が迎えてくれました。その名もデロリアン。知る人ぞ知る、タイムマシーンです。ここまで言えばわかる人にはわかると思いますが、映画「バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー」三部作のマラソン上映会があったのです。

もともとの上映予定は19時半からパート1、22時からパート2、24時からパート3、という合計6時間半の長丁場。飯はどうするんだ！？なんて質問が、上映会に行く前に職場の人間から飛んできましたが、そんなものこの歴史に残る傑作映画で腹一杯だろう！？と何の疑問も抱かず劇場へ向かいました。
でもって会場に着いたらなんと"ドク"、"ドクター・エメット・ブラウン"を演じたクリストファー・ロイドが特別ゲストとして来ていて、もうその時点で満腹に・・・。当然Q&Aがあって、パート3の途中で2度ほどフィルムが飛ぶというトラブルもあり、最終的に上映が終わったのは27時半。トータル8時間のマラソン上映となりました。
