April, it's the season that I feel something about the beginning of the year if I were in Japan. For example, it's cherry blosson, new school bag, suits for job hunting and new business suits of recruits.
On the other hand, there is no sense of such seasonal feelings in Los Angeles. At first, the beginning of school is not April but September usually. Also there is no custom of job hunting that all the students begin at the same time. Even if there is a such custom, there is no chance to see the students in recruit suits because LA is car society not train as in Japan.
The only thing that I feel "April" is the rush for ads of Hollywood blockbuster movies which will be released in May.
This year, there are a lot of sequels coming out such as "Harry Potter", "Terminator", "Star Trek", "Angels and Demons" sequel of "The Da Vinci Code" and "Transformers".
Personally, "Transformers" are the most anticipated and "Harry Potter" follows it.
It wanders off the points but April is a little different from other months as the beginning of the year personally even though I'm in USA.
It might be a habit from my past experience and might be a kind of homesick?
Whatever, I must be careful for "Gogatsu-Byo" next month, which is "May-sick", mental problem, most new students and recruits get fallen.
