I went to San Francisco on business.
It was my 8th visit including both private and business. So I can drive to major sightseeing spots without any map.

Accordingly, I didn't bring my camera because I thought there is nothing new to me. However, we find something new such time.
=Palace of Fine Arts=
There is something like a temple in Europe. I found a exciting spot to visit in a long time.
It was really wonderful place even I answer my own question why I didn't know such place. Most Japanese guide books don't show this place.
(Personally, I think they should show this place than Japan Town...)

It was three day trip and I went to my favorite seaside restaurant and ate delicious shrimp. Why there is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco even though I don't have so many ones in Los Angeles?

Whatever, I could rediscover the fun of travel to find something new in accustomed place.

Thinking where I go at the end of this year, I found there are more than 10 "How to Walk the Earth", one of the most famous guide book in Japan in my bookshelf.
It means I went to more than 10 cities in my Delusional Travel...

先週、仕事でサンフランシスコに行ってきました。
プライベートと仕事をあわせて8回目のサンフラ。 めぼしい観光地だけなら、もう地図がなくてもドライブできます。

ってわけで、新鮮味もないだろうと、カメラも持っていきませんでしたが、そういう時に限って、新しい発見をするものですね。
＝Palace of Fine Arts＝
という名前の場所で、ヨーロッパの神殿のような建物が建っています。久々に心躍る観光地らしい観光地を見つけました。
なぜ今までここを知らなかったのだろう？と自問自答してしまうほど素晴らしい場所です。日本のガイドブックにもほとんど載っていないみたいです。
(個人的にはジャパン・タウンを載せるよりも、こっちを載せたほうが良いと思うのですが・・・)

2泊3日の旅でしたが、2日目の夜は行きつけの海沿いのレストランで美味しいエビを食べてきました。LAにすら行きつけの店と呼べる店は片手で余るほどしかありませんが、サンフラに行きつけの店があるというのは何でしょう？

ま、何はともあれ、行きなれた土地のはずが、また新しいもの発見して、旅の面白さを再発見しました。

年末はどこに行こうか？なんて考えながら、本棚を見ると「地球の歩き方」がとうとう10冊を超えていました。
今年に入ってから、妄想旅行ではもう10箇所も行っているのに・・・。
