Last week was the busiest week for me in my life ever.
It was the peak of the release of our current distribution film of my company. I prepared for the release at 75 locations in both in USA and Canada. I needed to call, email and make documents for local media in each city. Besides I had one drink meet-up appointment and after the party I needed to go back to the office to finish my job. I felt I was completely exhausted mentally and it was at night when I woke up on Saturday...
It was really hard especially at Quebec in Canada because they are French speaking.
English also does work but their English have really strong French accent and I couldn't recognize even their phone numbers. Also there was 3 hours time difference between west and east coast, which made me so nervous. Under these situations, I had to do things below;
-Negotiation
-Preparing required documents by deadline
-Final adjustments with each theater
All of those are not able to be made any mistakes and I was completely exhausted.
I was busy 2 weeks ago because of 4 cities release and I will be busy for October 2nd release at 5 cities but I think I'm relieved now getting through last week's 75 locations.
From next week, I will live and die by the box office result of this week's opening cities but I think my job will be in a kind of peace. I hope that!!
