Last day, I did some shopping at outlet and enjoyed "all you can eat" sushi restaurant, which became my "usual". Then I left for Los Angeles.
On the way home, there was another "usual", heavy traffic but I could arrive at home in safe. It was very long, long travel in both time and distance.

Whatever, New Mexico is wonderful!
I definitely want to visit Chaco Culture National Historical Park and Ice Cave, so I will come back someday. Also I'd like to join in world famous balloon festival. I'd like to take another route at Carlsbad N.P. and see the sunset at White Sands N.P. After all, New Mexico attracted me in this trip.

Looking back this trip, it's like as below;
Length: 8 days
Distance: 2,721mile (4,353km)
Visiting State: 5 states (California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada)

Total driving distance 2721mile is almost same with the 2798mile, 2 years ago. At that time, I felt it was long distance driving with my friend alternately. So it might be because of driving such long distance alone for causing accident on snowy road. However I was really lucky coming back to home in safe.
Also the accident happened in 2010 not 2011, so I'd like to say good-bye everything bad.

I said there were only 2 cities Albuquerque and El Paso that I could travel by car 1 week last time, and I traveled these cities this time and I completely visited all big cities around Los Angeles.
So what shall I do next year? Airplane or staying at home for the first time in 4 years?

Anyway, this is the end of my trip.
I hope we can have wonderful 2011!

Sushi Restaurant 寿司屋

最終日はアウトレットで買い物をして、前回からベガスに来た時に恒例となった(?)寿司の食い放題を満喫し、一路ロサンゼルスへと向かったのでした。
帰路もまた恒例のように渋滞に巻き込まれながらも、無事自宅に到着し、今回の時間的にも距離的にも長い旅は終わりを迎えたのでした。

それにしてもニュー･メキシコ州は素晴らしかった。
チャコ・カルチャー国立歴史公園とアイス・ケーブはぜひ行ってみたいので、またいつか戻ってこよう。それとアルバカーキで行われる世界的に有名な熱気球の大会も見てみたい。カールズバッドの別ルートも歩いてみたいし、ホワイトサンズも夕暮れに訪れてみたい。というわけで、とにかく今回はニュー･メキシコ州の魅力にはまった旅でした。

振り返ってみると今回の旅はこんな感じ。
日数：8日間 走行距離：2,721マイル(4,353km)
訪れた州：5州
(カリフォルニア、アリゾナ、テキサス、ニュー・メキシコ、ネバダ)

総走行距離2721マイルは2年前の2798マイルとほぼ同じ。あの時は2人で運転を交互にしていても長いと感じていたのだが、今回は1人で走ったということで、その結果の雪道での事故だったのか？なんてことを考えたりもするわけだが、何はともあれ五体満足で帰宅できて良かった。
そして事故ったのも暦の上では2010年ということで悪いことは全て2010年にサヨナラってことにしておこう。

2 different limits 速度の異なる制限速度

前回の年末旅行の時点で、残るはニューメキシコ州のアルバカーキとテキサス州のエルパソくらいだろうか？と言っていた2都市を回ったので、これでロサンゼルスから1週間前後旅行で車で行ける都市は完全制覇です。
来年の年末は飛行機を使うべきか、それとも4年ぶりに自宅待機か？

とりあえず、これで年末旅行記は御終いです。
