Second is about courtesy. For example, clothing is on this topic. There are not a few anchorwomen who put on jeans to show up on TV program. If female announcer does same thing in Japan, newspaper may tell us there were 100 compliants in next day, however it looks OK in USA. Different from Japanese who thinks cooperation is important, people in USA think that personaliy is important. Is this clothing also personality?
I sometimes looks actions that an anchorwoman crosses in front of another anchorman or guest commentator stretching hand. It is common to go behind in Japan in this situation, but it might be OK.

二つ目は礼儀。礼儀というと幅が広いのですが、例えば服装。こちらでは普通にジーンズ姿でテレビに映る女性アナウンサーが少なくありません。日本でこれをやったら「視聴者からの苦情が100件あった・・・」などと翌日の新聞に載るかもしれませんが、こちらではOKのようです。協調性を重視する日本と違い、個性を重視するアメリカ。これも個性だということなのでしょうか？
あとよく目にするのが、女性アナウンサーが他のアナウンサーやゲストの前を手を伸ばしてみたり、横切ってみたりといった行動。日本であれば、こういう場合は後ろを通るのが常識のはずですが、こちらではこれも許されるようです。 To be Continued!
