Last Thursday, there was a last meeting of winter session, class "cinema 9". I learned sound on movie in this class. For example, sound editing with editing software such as Protool and Audition, sound recording about both interior and exterior, Foley which means make sound effects such as footsteps and door screeching, and structure of microphones.
First of all, this class was so useful for me to learn the process of making film. This class was mainly focused on sound but we learned more than sound. We learned how to manipulate equipments such as lighting, camera, and background setting.
I could also learn the importance of document. I think the importance of document is common in all the industries. This is based on my experience. What I mean, when I worked for IBM, my project has more than 30 people, the document was really helpful to comprehend the situation. It is easy to manage project if there are small people even if there is no document, but it becomes much difficult if the total number of the project's member increase.
