記念すべき・・・ |
Today became a memorial day for me with specific reason.
7 years ago, I got Japanese driver's license. In same day, I drove a car. That was rainy day, and I was excited to drive. Then, it happened! The car crashed into the pole and my car got a damage on side mirror.
Today, I acquired American driver's license. After I passed driving test, I drove a rent-a-car. I drove in unkown place. Then, it happened! The car rubbed against another car and my car got a damage on side mirror.
What a chance in million!! Same things happened on the same time, I mean car damage happened when I passed driving test in both Japan and USA.
However these were not exactly same, in Japan the damage was on the left mirror, and the damage was on the right mirror here, in USA.
I got one more memorial thing today.
That was memorial ball of Ichiro's record of single season hits record with "262" hits.

今日は自分にとって記念すべき一日となりました。
7年前、日本の運転免許を取得しました。その同じ日、車を運転していました。雨の日でしたが、運転できることに興奮していました。そして、それは起こりました。車が棒にぶつかり、サイドミラーが傷ついてしまったのです。
そして今日、アメリカの運転免許を獲得しました。テストに合格した後、よく知らぬ土地でレンタカーを運転していました。そして、それは起こりました。他の車と擦れて、サイドミラーが傷ついたのです。
なんという偶然だろう！！同じ時に、同じことが起きるなんて！！つまり、日米両国で免許を取得した日に車に傷を負ったのです。
しかしながら、まったく同じというわけではありませんでした。日本では左のミラーを、そして今日アメリカでは右のミラーを傷つけたのです。
今日はもう一つ記念すべきものを手に入れました。
それはイチローの262本という、シーズン最多安打記録の記念ボールです。
