This time is the sequel of the article I wrote before. The targets are the person whom I like the most and the second best director, Clint Eastwood, and Keanu Reeves who played main role in "Matrix" and also his name was carved in "Walk of Fame" in Hollywood.

Last month, Golden Globe Awards was held, and there will be Academy Awards in two weeks; therefore, there are many awarding ceremony around this time in each year. Clint Eastwood got BEST DIRECTOR in the director's guild that is the one of these ceremonies.
Most of his works are drama and they are really high level (except one...), for example, "Bridges of Madison County", "Perfect World", "Mystic River", "Million Dollar Baby."
Also he acts in some movies like "Perfect World", "Million Dollar Baby.", and so on. The most attractive one is "Escape from Alcatraz", which was the first movie to make me additicted to movie, and it was the one I thought movie interesting instinctively for the first time.
He also graduated from same school, LACC. I knew this fact after I entered this school, which encourages me because he is the movie-maker whom I respect.

今回は以前書いた記事の続編です。今回のターゲットは自分が最も好きな俳優であり、二番目に好きな監督でもあるクリント・イーストウッドと「マトリックス」などの映画で最近ハリウッドの星型に名前の入ったキアヌ・リーブスの二人です。

先月、ゴールデン・グローブ賞の発表があり、さらに再来週末には映画業界最大のイベントであるアカデミー賞が開催されるため、この時期は各種映画の表彰が行われます。その中の一つ、監督組合賞で最優秀監督賞を受賞したのがクリント・イーストウッドです。
彼の監督作品といえば、「マディソン郡の橋」、「パーフェクト・ワールド」、「ミスティック・リバー」、「ミリオン・ダラー・ベイビー」といったドラマ作品が多く、しかもどの作品も高レベル(唯一つ例外はあるが・・・)。
そして主演作品としては、上述の「パーフェクト・ワールド」、「ミリオン・ダラー・ベイビー」の他にも数多いが、なんといっても「アルカトラズからの脱出」だ。この作品が彼にのめりこんだ最初のきっかけの作品であり、映画を本能的に面白いと思った最初の作品でもある。
さらに自分が通っているLACCの先輩でもある。この事実は入学してから知ったのですが、自分の尊敬する映画人が自分と同じ学校を卒業しているというのは、励みになっています。
