Recently, I became one of the lowbrows of Hollywood star, and I went to see one of the biggest actress although it's not movie premiere.
This time, Sep/29/2005, was the one of the closest distance ever since I came to USA last year.

It was Charlize Theron who got an Oscar in "MONSTER". She was born in South Africa and she welcomed her 10th anniversary as an actress this year.
Looking back her works, "The Devil's Advocate" was the first movie I saw her as far as I remember. In this movie she co-stared with two actors that I wrote in this series "4th" and "8th", Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino. After that, she joined in "The Astronaut's Wife", "Sweet November ", and "Trapped."

最近、すっかりプレミア上映におけるハリウッド・スターの追っかけになってしまった私です。今回はプレミアではないけれども、ハリウッドの大物女優に接近してきました。
また今回(2005年9月29日)は昨年の渡米以来、1,2を争うくらいに接近した距離でそのスターを見ることができました。

そのスターとは、一昨年「モンスター」でアカデミー賞主演女優賞を獲得したシャリーズ・セロンです。南アフリカ生まれで今年30歳になった女優さんですが、芸暦は長く今年がちょうどデビュー10周年になります。
今までの作品を振り返って見ますと、自分が覚えている中では「ディアボロス」が最初に彼女を見た作品ですね。この作品では、このシリーズの「第4話」と前回「第7話」でお伝えした二人、キアヌ・リーブスとアル・パチーノと競演していました。
続いて見たのが、「ノイズ」ですかね？そしてその後は「サイダーハウス・ルール」、「バガー・ヴァンスの伝説」、「スイート・ノベンバー」、そして「コール」といった感じです。
