LACC 卒業式 1 |
Yesterday, June 6th, 2006, LACC Commencement was held at Greek Theater in Griffith Park. It was held at school parking last year, so this year was great treatment.
There should be 1,112 graduates but there was only about 250-300 students there. In my university in Japan, the rate of attendance was much higher than this. Is this due to American character or because of community college temper?
There are 3 kinds of gowns in pictures, and these are classified like this; blue = students, white = nurse students, and black = faculty.

昨日、2006年6月6日の"6"並びの日に、LACCの卒業式が、グリフィス･パークの中にあるグリーク・シアター(4000人くらい収容)という野外劇場で行われました。昨年度は学校の駐車場だったというから、かなりの大盤振る舞いです。
全体で1112人の卒業生がいる中で、当日参加したのはおそらく250〜300人程度といったところ。名大の卒業式はもっと出席率高かったけど、これはアメリカの大学だからだろうか？それともコミカレだからなのだろうか？
写真には3種類のガウンがありますが、青＝学生、白＝看護学生(日本なら白帽か？)、黒＝先生、と分類されています。
