"MANTIS" Shooting =Day1= |

MANTIS撮影 〜1日目〜 |
Today, we began shooting of short film "MATIS" which had a good reputation among Riverside Movies. I decided to make a re-make of this at the end of November and I did writing script, having audition, and gathered staff withing only three weeks, and I finally came to shooting today.
It is usual something happens during shooting and to day it happened before we started shooting. First of all, one of actors came on time but he forgot his stuff and went back his home to bring it with him. The other two actors came late, therefore, it became usuless that I called two make-up artists.
However, we could start shooting on time, and there was no more happening, and it went on according to the schedule, then we made it over almost on time.
This time, I invited a professional as a director of photography and I learned alot from him. I ever felt I had made a progress as a director after I finished shooting or editing but this time I'm feeling it during the shooting.
I hope nothing will happen in rest two days.

今日から短編映画「MANTIS」の撮影が始まりました。Riversideムービーの中でも評価が高かった作品ということで、リメイクが具体的に決まったのが11月末で、そこから3週間の間に、脚本を書き上げ、オーディションを行い、スタッフを集め、そして今日撮影にこぎつけました。
撮影にハプニングはつき物ですが、初日の今日は撮影開始前からハプニングが起きました。まずは役者の1人が集合時間には来たものの、忘れ物をして自宅まで取りに帰り、他の役者2名が集合時間に遅刻し、メイクさんを2人呼んだ意味がなくなってしまった。
だが、なんとか予定通りに撮影を開始し、その後は何のハプニングもないまま、しかもスケジュール通りに撮影が進み、ほぼ予定通りに撮影終了。
今回は初めてプロの方を撮影監督(わかりやすくいうなら、カメラマン)として招き、その人から本当にいろんなことを教えてもらっています。今までは撮影が終わった後、あるいは編集が終わった後に監督として、自分が成長しているなと感じることはありましたが、今回は撮影の最中に"自分が成長している"と感じることができてます。
残り2日も、今日のように何事もなく、無事に撮影が終わってほしいものです。
