MANTIS撮影 〜2日目〜 |
Day2, today we have been behind the schedule all the day. The shooting was over four hours later the schedule becuase of various factors. For example, one of the actors was involved in the traffic accident.
By the way, every time I shoot new movie, I experience something new. First of all, professional DP(Director of Photography) is absolutely the one as I wrote yesterday. Next is the photographer. I used photographers who took photos for posters before but the photogrpaher of this time is the one who takes photos of shooting scene. He is called still photographer.
It is also first time for me to let a script supervisor in. His role is to check the continuity of the differnt cuts or angles in one scene. I did this role by my self before, but this time I can focus on giving directions to actors due to the existence of the script supervisor.
It is also first time that I use both Japanese and American actors together. Basically, I direct in English for both actors but I do in Japanese many times for Japanese actor because I can tell my thinking correctly.
Besides, it was also first time that I shoot an actress in sexy way. It is just a shooting of shower scene of the actress with suimsuits.
Tomorrow is the final day. What kind of day will it be tomorrow?

撮影2日目。今日はスケジュール通りにはまったく進まず、役者が交通事故に巻き込まれたりするなど、いろんな要因が重なりに重なって、予定より4時間遅れで撮影終了。しかも撮り忘れもあったりと、昨日とは打って変わって大変な1日となりました。
ところで、毎回新しい作品を撮影する度に新しい経験をしているのですが、今回はまず、昨日書いたプロのカメラマンの人に参加してもらっていること。そして、今まではポスター撮りのカメラマンにプロジェクトに参加してもらったことはありましたが、今回は撮影現場をメインに撮影してもらうカメラマン＝スチル・フォトグラファーの人に参加してもらい、撮影現場の風景を写真に収めてもらっています。
スクリプト・スーパーバイザーという役割を設定したのも今回が初めてです。この役割は脚本を元に1シーンにおけるカットとカット(別アングル)の連続性に問題がないかをチェックする人で、今まではそれも監督である自分がしていたのですが、今回はこのスーパーバイザーのおかげで、役者に対する演技指導に専念することができています。
そして日本人とアメリカ人の俳優を共演させたのも今回が初めてで、基本的にはどちらに対しても英語で演技指導を行うのですが、当然ですが、日本人に対しては日本語で行うことが多々あります(やっぱり、日本語が楽だし、微妙なニュアンスも正確に伝えられるので・・・)。
さらに女優の濡れ場を撮影したのも今回が初めてです。濡れ場といっても、水着着用で、シャワーを浴びてもらっただけですが・・・。
さて、いよいよ明日は最終日。一体全体どんな1日になるのだろうか？
