	2007年7月26日	うまくいかない日

Every human has a day that everything doesn't work well. In my case, it happens once or twice every year, and today was exactly the day...

Midnight, I woke up because of itches bitten by mosquitos. I was bitten at 5 points, and I couldn't sleep well last night.
Then, when I tried to drove the car, it happened. I put the key into the hole to start the engine. But there was nothing. No sound, no movement... then I called AAA to check the car and I had to exchange whole battery of the car.
Next, it happened at the office. We left the window open and it came into our office from the window. Unbelievable and unbearable stink stimulated our nose. It was just like the smell of decomposed egg.
On my way home, usually I can change the lanes to left others behind, however, it was impossible today. Everytime I tried to change the lanes, other cars also tried to do same thing and even I was left behind of other cars.

It was the unluckiest day of the year today...

どんな人間でも、何をやっても駄目な日というのがある。自分の場合、それは年に1、2回起こるのだが、今日がまさにその日だった。

真夜中、あまりの痒さに目が覚めた。よく見ると5箇所も蚊に噛まれていて、結局昨夜はあまり寝れなかった。(蚊は即行で見つけ出して、殺したが・・・)
そして朝、車を運転しようとして、それは起こった。鍵穴に鍵を差し込んで出発！と思ったのだが、うんともすんとも言わない。音もしなければ、微動だにしない。仕方なくAAA(アメリカ版JAF)を呼び、調べてもらったが、結局バッテリーを交換するハメになった。
次は会社で起こった。会社の窓はいつも開いているのだが、その開け放たれた窓からそれはやってきた。信じられないくらいに耐え難い悪臭がみんなの鼻を突いたのだ！それは化学の実験で嗅いだことがあるであろう腐乱臭のようなものだった・・・と言えばわかってもらえるだろうか？
そして帰宅途中、いつもなら追い越しのために車線変更をしていくのだが、今日に限っては自分が変更しようとするたびに他の車も同じことをして、追い抜くどころか追い抜かれてしまっていた。

今日は今年に入ってから、最もうまくいかない日でした。
明日は良いことありますように・・・。
