Difference No.3 =Buildings=

Chicago and LA. Both of them are the quite huge cities in US, even in world. LA has modern buildings while Chicago has buildings that has some sense of history. This is because Chicago experienced fire and all the buildings collapsed due to the fire. Then all the new bulidings were built by iron or stone. So buildings made by stones let us feel some sense of history.

Difference No.4 =Pizza=

This is not only for LA but it is usual that pizza is the one that we "put" it on thin paste at almost all the cities except Chicago. However, here in Chicago, pizza is the one that we "stuff" it in thick tart.

Difference No.5 =Color of the Ocean=

Actually it is not the ocean that Chicago faces but it's just like a huge lake that we never see the opposite shore.
I prefer Chicago color personally.

違い その3 〜建物〜

シカゴとLA。アメリカを代表する大都市ではあるが、LAは近代的な建物が多いが、シカゴはどこか歴史を感じさせる建物が多い。考えてみると、大火災があったため、シカゴの建築物は一度焼け落ちている。それを踏まえて作られた建物はすべて鉄か石。というわけで、石造りの建物が多いので、それがどこか歴史を感じさせてくれるのかもしれない。

違い その4 〜ピザ〜

LAが・・・というわけではなく、シカゴを除く大半の都市のピザは薄い生地の上に"具を載せる"というのが普通だが、ここシカゴのピザはタルトのような生地の中に"具を詰める"というスタイル。

違い その5 〜海の色〜

シカゴが面しているのは正確には湖であって、海ではないのだが、対岸が見えないような巨大な湖＝水海である。
シカゴの海の色のほうが個人的には好きである。
