3 hours after Korea burned off, USA broken up.

While former president Clinton and Mick Jagger watched, the game started.
USA dominated the game as Korea did and also lost. In brief expression, it was "organized USA" vs "physical ability Ghana".

USA ruled the game with its organized play but Ghana sometimes threatened US defense with counter attack. Ghana's goal in extra time was its typical example. USA was defeated by only one long pass. Ghana FW Gyan showed its super dash and competed US defender and kicked the ball into the goal. It's not US failure but we should respect Gyan.

At the end, USA and Los Angeles where a lot of Korean people live might get back peace. Personally, hope good luck on German and Japan.

On the other hand, Ghana made it into best 8 for the first time. It's also third time for African countries and there is no record that African country go into semi-final.
So are they ready to make the history winning Uruguay?

韓国が散った3時間後、今度はアメリカが砕けました。

客席からクリントン元大統領とミック・ジャガーが隣りあわせで座りながら見守った試合。
韓国同様、試合を支配していたにも関わらずアメリカの敗退。単純に表すなら組織vs身体能力の試合だった。
もちろん組織がアメリカ、身体能力はガーナ。

試合は終始、組織的なプレーをしたアメリカが支配していたが、時折みせるガーナのカウンターアタックがアメリカの守備陣を切り裂く、といった展開。ガーナの延長戦での得点はその典型。それまで組織だった攻めを見せていたアメリカが単純な縦パス1本でやられてしまった。ガーナのFWジャンがすさまじいダッシュ力を見せ、DFとの競り合いに勝ち、そのまま豪快なシュート。これはアメリカのミスではなく、やはりガーナのFWジャンを誉めるべきである。

これでアメリカ、そして韓国人の多いロスでの盛り上がりは一段落といったところだが、個人的には残るドイツと日本に頑張ってもらいたい。

一方ガーナは史上初の8強へ。アフリカ勢としても史上3度目のベスト8進出。しかし、アフリカ勢のベスト4進出はいまだかつてない。次のウルグアイ戦に勝って、歴史を作れるか？
