Quarter final last match, Spain vs Paraguai.
This game was also exciting just like three other games.

Spain led the game even though they couldn't show their spectacle pass as they showed at the Portuguese game. But they couldn't score any goal.
13 minutes in 2nd half, Paraguai got penalty kick. But Casillas stopped this and it seemed Spain got their pace. However Spain also failed their penalty kick right after.
Then audience got excited. The game became seesaw game and finally Spain scored the goal from Iniesta's dribble and it's over.

Villa ビジャ

Paraguai kicker of penalty cried. Just like Gyan from Ghana or Komano from Japan, their tears make me impressed.

Spain made its semi-final as 2nd try for the first time in 60 years after some challenges for this qurter finals.

準々決勝第4試合、スペインvsパラグアイ。
他の3試合同様、この試合もエキサイティングな試合になりました。

試合そのものは、ポルトガル戦で見せた流れるようなパス回しはないものの、スペインが終始リードするも点は入らず。
そして後半13分にパラグアイがPKを獲得。しかしこれをカシージャスがストップ。これでスペインが波に乗るはずだったが、直後にスペインがPKを獲得し、一旦決めるもゴール前にエリア内に侵入したことで蹴り直し。これをパラグアイのGKがストップ。
スタジアムのボルテージが一気に高まる。その後は一進一退の展開になり、後半38分、イニエスタのドリブル突破から遂にスペインが先制。そのまま試合終了。

パラグアイのPKのキッカーは号泣していた。昨日のガーナのギャンといい、駒野と言い、PKの敗者の見せる涙には感動させられます。

そして、スペインは長いことベスト8の壁に阻まれてきたが、60年振り2回目のベスト4進出を決めた。
