I could sleep until afternoon for the first time in 3 weeks since World Cup began. I noticed today is Independence Day... I completely forgot because I'm absorbed in World Cup.
Looking at teams in semi-final, there are 3 countries from Europe while only 1 from South America even though it was told South America monopoly best 4. The only South American country, Uruguay also beated not European country but African and the situation comepletely became opposite way.
Two countries, Germany with 3 times and Uruguay 2 times experienced championship ever. There has been no tournament since 1978 that no-championship experienced countries matched at the final.
It comes it is really difficult that Netherlands and Spain will match at the final. Actually, it it told to be tough Uruguay beats Netherlands and I think so, too as long as judging from the games so far.
By the way, there is no World Cup ever that either Germany or Brazil didn't come to semi-final since 3rd tournament in 1938. Besides, there were only 5 times either these two team didn't show up in the final among 19 tournaments ever.
Based on these facts, another team will be Germany for the final. Most people expect Spain will win who won at EURO 2008, which was same match. However as long as watching the games so far, Germany has advantage. Personally I want Germany to win ofcourse but Spain is stronger than England and Argentina and I'm not sure which will win.
