Finally the day came! Pixie made it!!

Nagoya Grampus Eight, Japanese pro-soccer team finally won first-time championship in 18 years since J league had begun.

They call Grampus as J-league burden when it began. Grampus stayed at the middle of the league while another burden, Urawa Red Diamonds became one of the powerful teams.
3 years has passed since Pixie had become a coach who had also played for 7 and half years. He made 3rd place for his first year as coach and finished 2nd place in Emperors Cup and then finally won championship for his 3rd year.

When I watched the moment, there were a lot of people including the president of TOYOTA, the head of shareholders of Grampus, the first goal keeper of Grampus Dido Havenaar as a coaching staff. Above all, that's the one, Stojkovic. I cried when team members tossed him into the air.

Grmapus will won Emperors Cup on New Year's Day and also won championship of Asia Champions League. After those, they will beat FC Barcelona at FIFA Club World Cup...
I'd like to have a wonderful weekend hoping these come true.

とうとう、待ちに待ったこの日が来た！ピクシーがやってくれました！！

ってことで、名古屋グランパスエイト、Jリーグ創設18年目にして、遂に悲願のリーグ初制覇！

Jリーグ創設時は"お荷物"と言われていたグランパス。もう1つのお荷物レッズがいつの間にか強豪となった一方で、ずっとリーグ中盤をさまよってきた。
そして選手として7年半在籍したピクシーが監督になって3年、1年目に3位、2年目に天皇杯準優勝と、着々と結果を残し、監督就任3年目にして、とうとう頂点にたどり着いた。

YouTube見たら、筆頭株主のTOYOTAの社長(今年は受難の年でした・・・)もいて、初代ゴールキーパーのディド・ハーフナーもスタッフとしていて、そして何よりストイコビッチの胴上げ！
涙、涙です。


このままの勢いで天皇杯も制覇、そして来年のアジア・チャンピョンズ・リーグ制覇、でもってそのままFIFAクラブW杯でアジア代表としてヨーロッパ代表のバルサと決勝、そして優勝なんてことになったら・・・
なんて妄想をしながら気持ち良い週末を過ごしたいと思います。
