I watched the final of Women's World Cup on Internet.
The 1st half, USA showed their strength and Japan's pass-soccer couldn't be seen, even though people call them as "female FC Barcelona." In the 2nd half, USA marked their first goal... I thought Japan would loose. But they started to show their potential gradually, its beautiful pass-work, and tied into cutting US clear-ball and wonderful shoot by left-outside kick.
The game went to extended time and US again took a lead but Japan evened up. Then it went to penalty shoot-out. The memory of lost game against Paraguay lat year's World Cup came up but Japan won at the end with goal-keeper's great performance!
Captain Sawa won the scoring leader and MVP and became the world greatest player. It became the historic day for Japan that both as a player and as a team became the no.1 in the world.
I believe the men's national team of Japan for 2014 World Cup will the strongest ever.
-Defender, Nagatomo & Uchida could be the world most renowned side-back players.
-Midfielder, Honda & Kagawa could be the world most talentful combined game-makers.
-and Forward, Miyaichi should be the regular position in Arsenal, the world top-class club team.
