There is a news that Korean boom invades Japanese entertainment industry from one Tweet of one actor a while ago. At the end it brought a demonstration in front of Fuji TV, which is very rare case in Japan.
I'm watching one Japanese TV drama which is a remake of Korean TV drama. This drama made me think it is Japanese old style drama!!
I heard the fans of the Korean boom in Japan are housewives and there came out one formula;
"TV drama in the Korean boom = Japanese old style trendy drama"
The girls who were addicted to trendy drama years ago, are currently re-addicted to Korean drama.
More than 10 years ago, a lot of Japanese dramas were broadcasted in east asian countries including Korea. Therefore Korean drama has a lot of effects from Japanese and it reminds Japanese wives their old days.
Regarding music industry, even though it's not been a long time since Japanese music in Korea became legal, the way of young girls are singing and dancing reminds Japanese similar group, SPEED who did a great sales in 90s.
