Messi who is called as "Maradona 2nd" appered as a starting member and he showed a piece of his gifts in dribble but as a whole it was so-so. The absent of 2 top, Crespo and Saviola, affected him at least, didn't it?
The best match in group league in last World Cup 2002, Argentina vs England was really good game but this time it was not so good one because of Argentina saved main players for the next stage.

As the result of today's game, Argentina became 1st and Netherlands 2nd. So the matched of best 16 come to Argentina vs Mexico and Netherlands vs Portugal.

試合は前後半通して、アルゼンチンが6:4くらいの割合で押し気味に進めたが、両者無得点のまま、タイムアップ。
